Services for Students with Visual Impairments or Blindness
The Disability Resource Center coordinates and provides a variety of services for the growing number of students who are blind or have visual impairments. The following services are provided based on the student's individual needs:
- Auxiliary Aid Services (Alternate formats for textbooks and other class materials, notetaking services, testing accommodations, classroom or lab assistance)
- Access to the Assistive Technology Lab
- Information regarding classrooms, buildings, and the campus
- Access and orientation to community and campus resources
- Priority registration
